I am not a regular reviewer but I have to review the service this time. One of the best food I had in a long time. Taste of food took me back to India and justify its name very well. What a life saver!The food is delicious and healthy. They say home-cooked and it tastes home-cooked. The bharwa karela is my absolute favourite. Delivery is a bit pricey but extremely well-arranged – the food stays cold (read: frozen) all day until I return home from work and can put it in the freezer. Had a great experience with Home Made Indian food, the service is great. And the best part is, it felt like having a warm home cooked food in a foreign land (honestly reminded me of my mums food). The best tiffin services I have ever tried in UK not just in Glasgow. I also had ordered daaal & chicken kofta gravy, and aunty sent it to me to Cambridge for my friends to try. It was frozen & all fresh. Food that feels like it came from my family's home kitchen I received my taster pack on Friday and I wanted to write to you after I had the chicken biryani for lunch and dinner that day. From the very first bite and smell it tasted like something that had come from my home and family's kitchen. It was, quite possibly, the most wonderfully home-like tasting food I have had the pleasure to eat since I moved to London 12 years ago. And believe me, I have tried everything over the last 12 years, meal boxes, personal chefs, custom meals – everything. The biryani was simply so well-balanced, the spices, the ratio of protein to carbs, the flavour profile. It's taste and comfort really did remind me of something that was made in the kitchen of my family's home – which is not a small feat because I am from Hyderabad and obnoxiously particular about biryani!
